STORE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

• Showroom prices are for estimating and comparison-shopping only and DO NOT reflect labor minimums or custom work.*
• All price quotes prior to an estimator’s site-visit are “guesstimates”.
• A deposit* is required to schedule an estimate, which is then credited toward your flooring purchase.
• All price quotes after a site visit are valid for 30 days. An additional deposit* and your signed authorization is required to accept your quote, order your materials and/or schedule your installation; which will be based on product availability.  All orders will incur a freight charge and changes/cancellations, a restocking fee, once cut and/or delivered.
• Although every effort is made during a site inspection to see and anticipate installation requirements, there are times when things cannot be seen until work begins.  In these instances, you will be made aware of any necessary adjustments and/or additional charges that may be incurred – you will then be asked to approve and sign a change order for this additional work/charge.
• Additional charges may be imposed for excessive and/or large furnishings or equipment, i.e., pianos, grand clocks, pool tables, etc.  Gym equipment must be discussed with a sales person prior to your installation.
• All balances are due upon completion of your installation.
• Absolute Flooring guarantees our installations providing all conditions are met. (i.e. customers installing their own moldings after a vinyl installation are required to do so within 3 days). We do not guarantee installations over customer-installed subfloors.
• There is a $30 charge for all returned checks – no exceptions can be made.
• Our warehouse space is limited –pick-up orders MUST be picked up within 30 days of receipt – please call ahead for warehouse hours.
• Returns on carton purchases can be made ONLY with 5 unopened cartons, within 30 days of the original order and will incur a 25% restocking fee.
• Absolute Flooring is not responsible for dye-lot variations from samples, chips, dents or condition of moldings, doors, jambs or fixtures.  If it is necessary to trim doors, Absolute Flooring can usually provide this service at an additional fee.*

TO PREPARE FOR YOUR NEW FLOORING INSTALLATION

General Room Preparation:

The room(s) being installed must have live electricity and be heated to a minimum 68„aF and maintained at such for a period of no less than 72 hours after the installation.  Rooms utilizing radiant heat must be discussed with a sales person prior to the initial measure.
 
Clear all small objects such as chairs; tables; nightstands; lamps; knick-knacks; books; drawers; mirrors. Beds must be stripped and entertainment centers cleared (multi-sectional units must be separated).  Disconnect and remove from room: PCs and peripherals, TV/cable wires; stereos and speakers.  Leave bottoms of closets clear – remove articles longer than a shirt.
